(2 Corinthians 4:5)
The Holy Bible is the (God breathed) inspired Word of God. It is the instruction of God to all people. No one can refute the authenticity, authoritative, applicable and correctness of this Holy Book. (2Timothy 3:16) (2Peter 1:20-21)
The one true God has revealed Himself as the self-existent omnipotent "I AM" Creator of all things. This true God has revealed himself as three distinct; expressions; manifestations; persons as Father, Son and Holy Spirit and have consubstantiality; God of very God, the same essence with each other and are indeed the same true God.
The Deity of Christ is essential for our salvation. Jesus Christ himself taught that whoever does not believe who he is will die and not be forgiven. (John 8:24) The eternal God brought the New Covenant with a personable mission. That God himself will save us. (1 Timothy 3:16) Christ is Creator. (Colossians 1:16) He is the, "I AM" (Exodus 3:14) (John 8:58)
The Virgin birth is essential for salvation and for God to enter our world with a human body. For no man could save us. The prophecy after the fall of man (Genesis 3:15) was at play when Christ entered the Manger. The seed of the blessed Mary was the non-created seed of God. (1 Timothy 3:16) (John 1:14)
Salvation is essential for Heaven. To know who Jesus Christ is, must be received for salvation! (John 8:24) No one could build their way there. Nor buy their way there. Nor steal it or climb it. God commands for us to believe who Christ is to obtain Salvation. (Romans 10:9) The Lord! And to be born again. (John 3:3) Jesus Christ is God saying, "Come to me!" (1 Timothy 3:16) (Matthew 11:28) It is personal with the Father. The New Covenant challenges us to believe God like never before! We must have faith in Christ Jesus and put our trust and obedience in Christ as "The Lord Jesus." (Romans 10:9) God came down! (1 Timothy 3:16)
To be baptized in water is not essential for salvation but is an act of obedience commanded by the scriptures. It is a public confession of your faith. For if you lived in a desert, there would be no river to be baptized in like John the Baptist did scripturally. But do so as soon as you can after accepting Christ to experience your joy of being born again and your sins being forgiven. The old is passed away and behold the new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
By one man (Adam and Eve) sinned against God, and sin, sickness and death were passed unto all of us. (Romans 5:12) Sin is separation from God, and we all are in need of the Saviour Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9)
The Lord's supper consists of elements of bread and wine in scripture. Jesus said to do this in remembrance of him. To remember his death and his broken body for salvation and healing as the element of the bread. And the Lord's cup for the forgiveness of sins and abiding in the fruit of the vine in the family of God. We are commanded to do this till Christ comes back. (1 Corinthians 11:26)
Scripturally, Jesus commands all of us to come to him! (Matthew 11:28) What then? Ask of him nothing! Scripturally, Stephen full of the Holy Ghost prayed to God saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. (Acts 7:59) One would think that on your dying breath you would pray scripturally. The early church prayed, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men. (Acts 1:24) The early church prayed Lord, thou art God...(Acts 4:24) Jesus is Lord, right? Pray to the Father and Son if you want to be scriptural.
This was the normal experience in the Early Church. This enduement of power for the service of the church was not just for the Twelve Apostles. The Mother Mary was also in that upper room which held 120 people prophesying. This Holy Ghost was not only for the 3 thousand that received Jesus when Peter preached. Years later in (Acts 10:45-46) on the Gentiles was also poured out this gift of the Holy Ghost and tongues. (Acts 15:8) Then even many years later in (Acts 19:6) there were certain Baptists that were filled with the Holy Ghost and power. We are still in the book of Acts... some might say that it doesn't feel like acts... then you act like it then!!! The Early Church preached that this Holy Ghost gift was for all people who receive it. (Acts 2:38-39)
The death, burial and resurrection of Christ is essential to salvation. Without Christ's resurrection, we would not rise, and Christianity and our faith would be in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:12-14) Christ's death signified the perfect Lamb slain so our sins could be forgiven forever. His blood was the blood of God (Acts 20:28) which cleansed the stain of our sin. Christ's burial of three days was prophetic in nature as Jonah was three days in the belly of a whale. (Large fish) In this time Christ descended to hell and freed the captives of Abraham's bosom. (Ephesians 4:8-10) Old Testament Saints could not rise until Christ met the devil with the prophecy of (Genesis 3:15) and bruised the head of Lucifer. After Christ's resurrection, many of the old saints broke out of their graves and walked to the city for church. (Matthew 27:52-53)
The second coming of Christ includes the capturing away (The Rapture) of the Church (The Saints) by Jesus Christ himself. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) This is also called the Blessed Hope. Followed by the return of Christ again with his Saints, to reign. The Millennial reign of Christ is 1,000 years. Christ will come for the Church in the twinkling of an eye. Like a thief in the night! (1 Corinthians 15:51-52) Christ will enter through the Eastern Gate (Golden Gate) in Jerusalem after planting his foot on the Mount of Olives foretold by Prophecy. This Eastern Gate is blocked by Stone and mortar as an attempt to stop Christ from entering but Christ will easily enter as the King of Kings, and everyone will know who... is Lord and who is God.
Yes, he does! The Bible (KJV) says that "No man" and "No Angels" knoweth that day but God only. (Matthew 24:36) And Christ is God in human form (1 Timothy 3:16). The early Church preached that Christ knew all things. (John 21:17) (John 16:30) Christ is also "Omnipotent" and "Omniscient" as the Bible teaches that Jesus has "all" power and knows all things that are on earth and in Heaven. As a Christian, it is important to remember that when Jesus came down from the throne of God, he humbled himself as a man. (Philippians 2:7-8) This scripture is a great tool for witnessing for those who attempt to prove that Jesus Christ was only a man. Christ humbled himself as a man and (prayed). Remember, Christ humbled himself as a man and gave the glory to God. Christ humbled himself and said that God is Greater. Christ humbled himself as the Son of God. Sometimes though Jesus slipped up... (John 8:58-59) Also God gave all things to the Son of God. (John 3:34-36) The Bible is perfect to the ones who love Christ. Be like a scholar of the Bible and do not use one scripture to cancel out others! Remember the multitude of counselors is safety. (Proverbs 11:14) Christ humbled himself as a man! After the resurrection of Christ, (After Jesus humbles himself as a man) Jesus is bold to say that he will come back in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God... (2 Thessalonians 1:8a) Can you imagine Jesus' thinking, "Oh, today is the day for my vengeance!" "I did not know!" "I was hoping it was tomorrow!" "Oh no, I was busy today!" Rember, Jesus humbled himself as a man and gave glory to God! Christ laid aside the Glory of God that he had before! Careful how you teach.. Christ went back to the throne!!!
Yes! Miracles are for today just like in the "Early Church!" The Bible declares that where there is no love, tongues and the miraculous would cease. (1 Corinthians 13:8) The miraculous Miracles of Jesus Christ today will not work without obeying what Jesus told the Church to do. The Bible commands the church to preach Christ... "The Lord!" Not just another lord Alexander but, "The Lord!" (2 Corinthians 4:5) Why would Christ allow any church to experience miracles if they refuse to preach who Jesus is every Sunday? Preaching it only on Christmas is not preaching Christ since it would be only once a year! The Bible teaches us to confess "The Lord" Jesus, and then preach it... (Romans 10:9) There is not much love when a church downgrades Jesus to a mere man 364 days a year and one day say... "Well...Jesus was a god too!" Miracles are for today and for the obedient Church! (1 Timothy 3:16) shouts to the whole world that God came down! It should not be a rare thing to find that DVD in your Church bookstore! Miracles are special to Christ in the Church today. The Early Church used this method... The Name of Jesus (Acts 3:16) ... God came down and Faith in the Name! (Faith in Jesus the same as God!) We believe it is time to stop blaming sick people for not confessing enough and for the preacher to start having enough faith in Christ!
