CHRIST COMMANDED US TO PREACH WHO HE IS... (JOHN 8:24) LET US NOT LET HIM DOWN! MAY WE NEVER LOSE OUR FIRST LOVE AGAIN!
You got to fly with the engine running!
The Lord knows that we try to fly with the engine not running. That's why he wants to make us a new person (Creation). (2 Corinthians 5:17) So we can soar! With him! We soar under his wings. He's got the fire of the Holy Ghost for us to take real flight. (Acts 1:8) I hear people sometimes say that they can do it without Christ and soar with the eagles. And before I can tell them no, they've already crashed. I've seen me do it, too! I'm glad the Lord spared me! Keep the engine running! God has the supply station that does not run out of fuel. Christ said the very important words. He said that without him we can do nothing! (John 15:5) Don't even try to live for God without Christ. You get results going straight to the source. The Lord Jesus! When you open your eyes in the morning say, "Good day Lord Jesus, what does the Lord Jesus want to do today?" The whole Word of faith message is based on The Lord Jesus! Jesus is the baptizer with the Holy Ghost!
Every Christian should seek the wonderful gift from God. This wasn't given to only the twelve apostles. Read the Bible for yourself! There were one hundred and twenty people in that upper room on the day of Pentecost. And that was only the beginning! Even the Blessed Mother Mary spoke in Heavenly glorious tongues that were given. (Acts 1:15) The Apostle Peter said that this gift was for you and your children and that are afar off. (Acts 2:38-39) People that heard this probably could not wait to bring children into the world to see them filled with the Holy Ghost. Even many years after Pentecost, people were speaking wonders and baptized with the Holy Ghost. (Acts 10:45-46) Even the Apostles were amazed that thousands of people were speaking in tongues like they were. (Acts 10:45) And many years after that, there were still people receiving this gift! Speaking in tongues and filled with the presence of Jesus. (Acts 19:6) Even twenty years after Pentecost, the Gentiles received the Holy Ghost just like the Apostles. The book of Acts is still being written today about those who are filled with the Holy Ghost. There is no goodbye at the end of the book of Acts. Christ still works today! The Bible is for today!
